I am looking for some ID help with a frog that I found on a field survey in Comox, BC on Vancouver Island.
As far as I can tell it's not one of our native species, or more common invasives.
Here's its stat's: Body length is 4.5 cm, plump shape; dark brown with two darker stripes on back and through eye; underside cream with dark mottling; eyes golden with horizontal pupils; tympanum smaller than eye; globby toe pads.

Those last 2 pics kind of look like a juvenile Northern red legged belly but being an Aussie I don't know if there from your area, even though u probably already figured it out by now![]()

Looks to me like a rather gravid female Pseudacris regilla which is a native species.
