Good idea! I just wish there was a way for me to know if the cats got him. There are so many possibilities.
Quick update: just talked to my grandma, and apparently the last time she actually saw him was on Monday.. so the odds are not looking up. He wasn't under the refrigerator either.
Mine got out 3 times! First time I woke up to him on my shoulder! Second on the inside of a bookcase. They love to hide in dark places too. Worst one, found him 3 doors down in the laundry room stuck to a mop! He was full of hair, dirt and the mop had been used in bleach and god knows what else. Took a bit to find home but that was 10 years agoso don't give up, he will show up sweetie

Its not exactly the same but its possibly similar. When my cat got into my greens cage and "played" with her this past January, Sparta (the cat) seemed a little under the weather afterward. I dont know if whites or greens have anything like a poison or something to cats or if Sparta was just sulking (since I took his "toy" and scolded him) but I'd check out the cats and see if anyone of them are acting out of sorts like just slightly sick.
On the positive side, even after "playing" with her for about 20 minutes Percy (the green) still survived. She has a scar on her arm to this day (you can only see if shes bright green) but other then that shes perfectly fine. Whites are much MUCH bigger then little Percy and more robust so its possible that he could have survived a run in with the cats. Dont give up hope. Keep looking! I'm sure you'll find him!
Any luck? Have you found them?
You find your froggie yet!?!?!?

Sorry I've been meaning to update this, things got crazy this week and I didn't have timeMy boyfriend found him in front of the dryer dead.
It was a very sad day. He managed to get downstairs, and to the other side of the house. I'll miss the little guy. RIP Sprite!

Quite possibly, we at Frog Forum are the only ones who relate to how close we can become to these little guys. Your concern in looking for him proves you were a good friend. We share your grief.
