I went on vacation a week ago, and I had my grandma frogsitting my two whites. She's done it twice before. On Friday (23rd) she texted me and said that she could not find one of the frogs, but I didn't get too worried because they're good at hiding and sometimes she doesn't see them. I was still apprehensive when I looked in the cage when I got home today, and I couldn't find Sprite (the frog) either. I ripped apart the cage and still can not find him. Not buried, not in a tree branch, not in the lighting fixture. I don't understand how he escaped. There is a hole in the light fixture & screen the size of a quarter, but I never thought he could fit through there, he was a big guy, but maybe he could? There are two dogs and two cats roaming the house, and there wasn't any water sitting out for him. I just put 4 water dishes out, in hope that he will go in one, if he's still alive... Do you think there is a chance he is?
I feel like I let the poor guy down.
