Yeah, I read about that for burning they skins, but I think this is only by UV ? If I heat it with pad/mat it will be dark in the terrarium. Yes, Grif help me a lot. Thanks all

    PS: Quote from care sheet
"a low UVB tube is generally a welcome addition to the terrarium. Not only will it allow you to view your Horned Frog better, but it will also help your Horned Frog to convert some of it’s food intake into vitamin D3. If no UVB can be provided then it is more important to ensure that your Horned Frog’s food is dusted with vitamin D3 regularly.
The exception to the UVB bulb are albino Horned Frogs. UVB should not be used in terrariums housing albino varieties. UV lighting will burn your albino Horned Frogs skin and will eventually cause blindness."

This is true, but it is not just UVB bulbs that can cause harm to your frog. If your Pacman is an Albino even the incandescent basking bulbs like the Sun Glo and Daylight bulbs can burn them and harm their eyes. Especially if the wattage is higher than 50 watts. Albino Pacman frogs you want to use a heat pad/mat or if you use a heat lamp you must use the Heat Glo bulb. They must have 12 hours of day and 12 hours of night. If you are using the Heat Glow bulb you will need to have your frog in a well lit room during the day so your frog knows its daytime.

    I'm happy to help.

PS. The UVB bulbs are beneficial if your frog is only exposed to the UVB Radiation for 4 to 6 hours a day, but it is best and safer to use a Calcium supplement that contains Vitamin D3.
