Hi All,
Opinions wanted :
I have had a Mist King since this past Christmas.
In the ( red eye enclosure ) 36"H x36" x 18" - I have one single and 1 double valve
In the new ( black eye enclosure) 36H X 18" ? - I have 1 double valve
I have been using ( as per instructions ) distilled water in the bucket.
The seconds timer is great and easy to set to maintain the proper humidity.
My bservation:
-both enclosures- and noticeable behavior change w/ all six frogs
It's quite obvious that the frogs are spending MUCH LESS time actually soaking in their dishes and in (their favorite spot) the froggy spa!
I, in fact, make the effort to move the direction of the spray everyday IF it is pointed toward where a frog has decided to sleep
so that particular frog will not get sprayed w/ distilled water.
My concern:
This misting ( w/ distilled water ) could be deleterious to them, as some of the mist is touching them on a daily basis !!
Nothing else is different !
What do you think ???
Note: Last night, I took the distilled water out of the bucket and replaced it w/ de-chlorinated ( soaking dish ) water .
I would rather replace a mister motor / then have ill frogs !!!
Thanks, Lynn

You really don't need to worry about distilled water hurting your frogs when only used with misting. The only problem is when the only kind of water avaible is distilled. I would continue using distilled water, as long as the water source is not distilled.
