    Default Can pixies drown?

    I just walked into Bruces room... and he's completely under water! is that ok?

    Yea it is fine. My pixie goes underwater for minutes at a time. No worries.

    if you were concerned I would have just picked him up out of there, but yes it's normal. especially if he's good size by now; I don't keep water bowls in my Pyxis enclosures until they are almost mature. I just keep the coconut fiber very moist.

    I moved him out to make sure! But then i thought maybe i shouldn't have done that because he's shedding... I was just afraid for my baby =)

    He's about 3 1/2 inches and a dwarf pixie. I have no clue how old he is!
