what paint?

hi guys im wanting to finnish my vivarium this month after not touching it for a while but i dont know wht type of paint is safe to use in there can anyone suggest what i need and where to purchase it from please!

whats it for ? i've seen plenty of people use acrylic paint for detailing and then finish it with a clear varnish/paint, the seal is what i'm unsure about. stay clear of pva glue, everyone tells me to use that (people who dont keep animals but know its waterproof), however i've heard stories of it turning tacky/white again when wet etc.

Its for my water fall but ive not painted one before so I dont know what paint to use or if I need to varnish it

had a look around and people say use pond sealant but to make sure it is okay on polystyrene, if you've not made it, pond foam and silicone, this guy built a waterfall, might be worth giving him a line http://www.frogforum.net/vivarium-te...ew-tank-2.html

you can use a clear two part epoxy to seal it with. they normally sell it in hardware stores with glues in the u.s. it will dry very glossy, but you can sprinkle some fine sand on it while it is still tacky to cut down the shine.
