Default Fruit Flies and exo terra tanks

Are fruit flies able to get through the crack that the double doors in the front of the exo terras makes? I'm trying to figure out what's the best tank to go with in terms of fruit fly escapeability. I know a regular fish aquarium is probably best since the only opening is the top but i kind of like the accessibility the exo terras give you

    Hi J Teezy,

See the very last post here:

Showing a product I used to seal up vertical cracks .
I have not used it on the exo-terra, however.
    $5 at home depot.

I saw something else there when I purchased this -- fuzzy storm door weather stripping stuff.
It might work on the exo doors ?? Check it out!

On my last Exo Terra the flies did escape, but i took some leftover pump tubing that was a clear 1/8' inch and put it onto the door crevice....
flies never got out again and it wasn't a eye sore at all... the front doors def are better....

FYI my second Exo Terra looks like they might have fixed this issue cause i noticed there wasn't as big of a crack...
