I use a ReptiFogger in my RETF vivarium. Now it's amust to use distilled water so the fogger doesn't get coroded and die.
Right now I pay 88 cents/gallon at Walmart for the water. Are there any other cheaper solutions out there? Anything that you can do to tap water that'll make it safe to use in the fogger?
Thanks.
Also, I have an 18x18x24 Exo Terra. What size hydroballs would be best, and where to get them?
Josh's frogs carries about anything you'd need for a frog setup including hydroton, but if you have a nursery or flower store near you they probably have hydroton
As far as I know there is no way to make tap water as pure as Distilled. I looked into it very briefly for my Reptifogger and decided that I was fine spending about $2 a month on water to save myself the headaches of trying to clean up the tap water.
J Teezy nailed it on the head. I get my Hydroton from a nursery near my house, it is considerably cheaper the the ZooMed Hydroballs!
