Got a new frog :)

I've wanted to try frog for a while. Now I'm glad I didn't try it from a restaurant. I guess I'll have to see if we have any good size invasive species here. Veddy veddy doubtful in the desert.

As to the killing live creatures I don't believe it should be done for fun, ie "trophy hunting" but if something is plentiful in the area and you are going to put the meat to good use then eat up.

I tell my girls "If you kill it you have to eat it" when they're playing with bugs.

I hope to God they never catch me killing one of those nasty boxing glovey looking house spiders. *shudders*

Yeah, I agree. It should only be done if the animal is known as a pest, and you're going to kill it humanely then go for it, especially if your gonna eat it :P.

Hahah, I don't like spiders much either. I don't get how people have them as pets. (But then again, alot of people think I'm crazy for having frogs, :P )
