Not a fan of Cane Toads, aha. They're a big pest in Australia.
But I'm sure they will be lovely

    So I hear, lol

I know they're a pest, but I can't help but be impressed with their ability to completely dominate new environments. I think that's one of the reasons I wanted a couple of them :P

Yeah, if they weren't such a pest here, I'd probably love them.

The problem with Cane toads in the US is people get tired of them and release them in the wild. In the southern parts of the US it poses a threat to the native frogs and toads, and even some pets.

I don't see how anyone could get sick of a frog/toad

Yeah, here they are regularly found in dog/cats water bowls. When the dog/cat goes to get a drink it attacks the toad and ends up getting poisoned. They also eat alot of the native frogs. We have services to remove them and 'destroy' them. But then I just feel bad :/ even if they are a pest, they still are a living creature.

Yeah, there will be no releasing of these. They wouldn't take hold in Missouri anyway, but I would never release a non-native species.
