Lol you two are odd. I think I'm just attracted to the natural look of animals. My bearded dragon is a normal type as well. I had originally wanted an albino, but this guy fits right in with me (in that he's not picky about what he eats and is settling in nicely with minimal relocation stress!). I just need to decide on a name now.

Odd? Noway we just enjoy to occationally pick on each other. All in good fun. I also have a Chacoan Horned frog like yours. She is a little over a year old now and is 4.25" SVL(snout to vent length) if I had to guess the age of yours I would say if Male 5 months and if female 4 months. Males and female growth rates differ and their full size. Males tend to be 3" to 3.5", but it isn't uncommon to have a male reach 4". Females usually reach 4.25" to 5.5". This all depends on the frog and how much food and nutrition the frog received at crutial growing stages of his/her life. For now only time will tell if you have a male or female.

Males will start calling anywhere from 5 months of age to a year. When they reach sexual maturity at 8 months to a year they will develope what is called nuptual pads on each thumb which is used to hold on to the female during Amplexus. The nuptual pads will look like a dark spot kind of like a mole. Females are quiet and lack nuptual pads. Also males that have been calling will have dark colored throats.

Welcome to the Brown Team Lol!
