Although my frogs are still young, I have been thinking about their adult home, and how I should design it. One idea was to buy a 55 gal and get the viquarium by tetra. The other idea was to get a piece of glass to separate the land and water. Either way, live plants on the land are a must. Should I get the viquarium, or a piece of glass and some silicon? Btw what would be the minimum size tank 2 american bullfrogs would need?
Well sorry to break it to you but one of those AB will eat the other. I have owned American Bullfrogs for quite sometime. But a 20 long is minimum deffinatley and they will enjoy a 55 long very well.As far as the galls and silicon it works and it looks amazing but its worse than it looks. I did it before but the substrate always got in the water, clogged the filter, just use lots of flat rock stacked on eachother for land or a gravel land area and use aquatic plants. Have a good time AB frogs are diffinatley my favorite.
Thanks for the reply. I probably will go with the glass, but that might change. also both my bullfrogs are pretty much the same size and age, so there should be no problems at all.
