    Brainz wasn't successful in catching them, not until I moved him into a KK for feeding, then he was only hungry enough to eat one. They had Brine Shrimp, shrimp pellets and frog & tadpole bites. Neither of them will eat the frog bites. Brainz was also eating some of the guppies' flakes earlier
    there is a just noticeable difference in their sizes, but Brainz is the bigger of the two. Which is partially why it's so surprising that Pinky is a bottomless pit, and Brainz doesn't eat anywhere near as much.

    how big do they need to be before i can train to hand feed? they're about 2"

    You can start using tongs right away. If you are offering something yummy they will go for it. You can try a floating prepared food too. Reptomin is the basic one a lot of us use and recommend.
