    Nice!

I'm just worried that a wtf might get too big for the setup, and my big girl panties and I aren't ready for an intermediate frog like an retf.

I am lucky that my mom has a bunch of clean houseplant cuttings that are appropriate for a viv. Such a time and money saver.

P.S. I really like your little tiki head/totem.

    Thanks

Yeah, I think an adult white's requires at least 20 gallons, and that one we have is just a bit over 10 gallons IIRC. Hmmm maybe a regular green tree frog? American green tree frog - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I'm hoping that someone will be able to tell me how long it will take a baby (a little smaller than a quarter) to reach adult size. If it's a long enough period of time I may be ready to move the wtf into a larger cage and repurpose the current one for something a bit more advanced.

BTW, where did you find that wicked leaf dish? Something like that is exactly what I'd like the waferfall to run into before falling to the bottom.

I'm pretty sure it takes a good while for them to grow big from that size. If you are willing to upgrade to a bigger tank when it starts getting larger, I'd say go for it! Then you could probably house a diff species in the 12x12x18 after the move and a bit of experience under your belt

That dish was given to me by a friend, I looked it up on google though and saw that petsmart carries them PetSmart - All Living Things(r) Leaf Water Dish customer reviews - product reviews - read top consumer ratings

Grey tree frogs stay pretty small, especially the males. One would be comfortable in a vertical 10 gallon tank. They tolerate a wide range of temperature and humidity conditions and accept food readily after they're settled in. In my opinion, greys are the absolute easiest "newb" tree frog there is.

Plus, they are AWESOME frogs! I absolutely love all 5 of mine XD

    Omar,
Just my luck, it's discontinued. I may try the whites, I've got some time to decide since we haven't even received the waterfall kit and other equipment we ordered.

    Cam,
It is supposed to be "tropical rainforeset" but I doubt that her teacher would know the difference in species. If nothing else, I'll just set up the terrarium and stick in some plastic PDF's and then I can pick whichever frog my avaricious little heart desires.

I really like your setup, is the water at the bottom filtered? Your frogs look really happy.

I'm sure I'll be bugging this forum quite a bit in the weeks to come, but hopefully I'll be able to contribute something too.

    Thanks guys.
