A friend of mine found a Gray Tree Frog, a bit bigger than a quarter, and dropped it off at my house saying it was injured. I put it in a cage with some soil I dug up outside (wild caught individual) and I also put a water dish (a glass ashtray actually) in the cage with water and left the frog be. About an hour ago I went out and got 2 branches that had green leaves on it and a stick, I put those in the cage and I turned the heat lamp that was on off. When I returned to the room the frog is in he was no longer huddled up against the top corner, near the top of the cage, he was down at the bottom of the cage in the soil, just sitting there. He hops around fine and climbs fine. I have 6 small crickets in the cage with him. Besides the cage set up is there anything else I should do to ensure he'll be happy? Does he require a heat lamp?
