Anyone here breed, or own American Bullfrogs?

for 4 years I have been taking care of an american bullfrog. I was wondering if anyone here breeds or owns AB frogs? I feel that I am the only one out there :P

Lots of people keep bullfrogs. I own 2 that have been frogs for 7-7.5 months, and are 2-2 1/4 inches. Did you just want to know if anyone else owns one, or did you have a certain question in mind?

I use to have a bullfrog about 7 years or so ago. I miss him. I love their LOUD croaks. I was thinking about buying some tadpoles from work to grow up.

I currently have 3 American bullfrogs and 5 more that are still tadpoles. I purchased them from a bait-shop as tadpoles, I really wanted frogs and they really wanted to not be bait. Right now the 3 frogs are very shy, but we've been having some great success with feeding mealworms and crickets. I'm not learning to breed my own mealworms and crickets. I've already started breeding feeder guppies for some of my pet fish. What else do the little ones eat? They are so good at hiding, and I am so worried they will escape and dry out.

I thought Mark Twain's characters would pick up the big ones and carry them around in their pockets all day. Must have been very stressful for these guys?

I'd love to have one but unfortunatly they're not allowed over here. Ecological hazard and all that...

I had one years ago, named Queen. S/he was almost 3 pounds and ate everything I offered her. Housed her in a 125 gallon tank.
When she died she was almost having a seizure. Her back legs were kicking strait back, but she wasn't moving. I was 14 at the time and actually held her until she passed. It was very sad. I still think about her and had thought about getting another.

I have 3......i just bought albino bullfrogs from mikesfrogs....and i have an adult female huge she just ate a toad a day ago lol
