I have a frog that I raised from a tadpole with 2 others who have since died. This one, called Rose by the students, lives in a tank in my kitchen. I recently noticed that there is something curved and white coming out of her mouth. I can't figure out what it is. I have two photos to show. Not sure how to upload the photos. Hope I did it right. Thanks for any help you can offer. Rose eats pellets and dried krill from a container.
Looks to be the tongue. I have only seen dead frogs looking like this. My guess is its diet has led to this condition. The frog should be getting dusted live insects.
