You want your frog to be a year or older, but I would wait till the fallowing winter after your frog is about 2 years old due to the 1 year mark being in November.november to late Febuary is the Aestivation period. You lower temps/moisture/ and humidity so you simulate the arrival of winter. You do not want to go too low in temps or moisture. You can find information of the Aestivation process by asking on of the breeders on here.

Ask Jessica of IvoryReptiles or Mike of MikesFrogs(Mikes Phat Frogs) I have never put mine through Aestivation so I. Know the process, but it would be better to ask an experianced breeder so you get every detail od how to do so safely.

Grif my female turned 1 year on Febuary 25th and my Male Loki is only about 6 months old or a little ievr 6 months. I have thaught about Aestivating Grif this year, but may not because I am not going to breed them. I have plenty of time to deside.

ah, so they are also young
can you tell me the size and weight of loki?
mine is a female, when i got her she weighed 19grams. i weighed her a few days ago and she had 34 grams

    another question:
is it really not possible to keep 2 of them together? no matter how large the terrarium is?

I'm not sure how much Loki weighs. He is about 2.75" long though SVL(snout to vent length). Grif is 4.25" SVL. I do not know her weight either, but she is pretty chubby. That is Grif in my Avatar picture.

About your last question. No matter how large the tank is you should bever house 2 Pacman frogs together. These frogs are canniblistic. They will either harm or kill eachother or a. Larger one will eat the other because they are canniblistic. It is unsafe.

im planning to get a larger terrarium
i've always wanted to have it like a vivarium
i also always liked red eye leaf frogs
maybe ill put a plexy glass in the middle of the terrarium and keep the red eye leaf frogs in the upper and the cranwelli in the lower part
what do u think about that?
i dont want the cranwelli to attack any of them, thats why i want to seperate it
