    Males around a year. Females alittle longer.

    That differs from frog to frog though. Closest estimate is 8 months to a year usually. Males can have nuptual pads at 8 month of age. Females a year or so is definetly right. You breed so I'm sure you've seen many varying maturity ages.

    We usually wait until the females are at least 2 to breed them. But our males are bred when they start calling. At least we give the males a shot at breeding when they start calling, I should say. We have noticed that younger males have a much lower success rate........they need to get some experience under their belts! LOL

    I heard a funny thing about Fruit Fly breeding on the radio today. It said that males. Who are tuned down have a higher blood alcohol than that of the ones who were not turned down and had a successful attempt at breeding. Lol! I guess Fruit Flies get depressed and turn to drinking after the fail to get a women.

    Just thaught that was funny and interesting.
