Percy's "Day" out

So my little captive bred Green, Percy, has an adventurous streak in her. Within hours of getting her shed managed to get out of her tank and hid in my makeup drawer for a full day while I was sitting there upset thinking that I'd just gotten an expensive snack for my Gray, Helen (was told that if one is too much bigger then the other that the larger will eat the smaller).


So today she apparently got that adventure bug again and while I was trying to get her down out of her favorite hiding spot (the groove around the top of the tank) she decided to take a hop around my room. Scared the bageebaze outa me. It looked like she had jumped onto the clothes rack next to her tank or the pile of stuff (that needs to be sorted threw) below. So here I am frantically trying to dig threw and find her and she is no where in sight. @.@

I finally go downstairs and ask my mother for advice and she said she'd come help me look. As soon as she got into my room she squeeked and said "well who is this?!" and pointed at the side of the tank. There the little snot was, on the OUTSIDE of her tank looking in. I tried to scoop her up to put her back and she jumps on mom who shrikes (she isn't as into frogs as I am XD) and sequels "get it off get it off!" A short chase around the room later and the little bugger was back in her home, right back up in her hiding place.

She was only out for about an hour tops but man the little shot put me threw hell for that hour. >.<

Whats really funny is her wild tank mate, Helen, enjoys being out of the tank but she'd prefer to sit on my chest and stomach and watch tv or the computer screen. Percy, the captive born, wants to go on adventchas. XD

Oh boy is that an understatement. But I love her so. She is entertaining when she wants to be. I'm hopeing that when the local markets start getting in there spring plants I can find some nice vines for her to play in. She likes hanging from stuff then popping out of no where when you least expect it.
