Hydei or melans for adult leucs?

I am planning to get a pair of juvenile leucs, and am wondering what fruit fly they can eat as adults. I am planning on melangoster (spelling) fruit flies for them as juveniles, but will they eat those as adults? I would prefer not to culture hydei because of the added work and slower reproduction.

It's good to feed both, leucs like small food items and won't get it when to big.
I feed both, hydei and melanogaster to mine.
