White's Dumpy Treefrog Substrate question.

Is it okay to switch my substrate to paper towels? I know it won't look as nice but it would be so much easier to clean. Right now I've got soil but I can't see if my frog has left any 'gifts', because both are the same color.

try changing the substrate to a dif. color.
I guess towels would work, but you have to change them every few days, which can be a pain if you have decorations.

Ok, I don't have that many decorations, most just have suction cups and cling to the side of the cage. I think I will go with the paper towels for a while, I don't mind the extra cleaning.
