True I was thinking more about doing that bad *** mixture that someone posted before, and storing it for future use also.
This is the recipe I force fed.
In a blender combine:
1 can of Hills A/D pet food (available at vet clinics)
1/4 - 1/3 cup ensure (not chocolate)
1 Jar baby food (squash)
1/4 - 1/3 cup pedialite
2 tablets or contents of 2 capsules of milk thistle (herbal supplement food found at most drug stores)
1/2 tsp of calcium powder and herp vitamin powder
1 large handful of meal worms, add slowly while mixture is blending.
You could freeze the extra

oooo. I missed that. Ima save that recipe just in case.
But that totally sounds like a good mixture to help her get nutrition and her energy back. :3
Hell yeah Cam, I'll take pics step by step and make it into a tutorial! Good idea Heather, and yes Infinity's hoping this works out.
I'd use earth worms, red wiggler worms, or night crawlers instead of mealworms. Just bc of the exoskeletons. Even ground up...I'm not sure how well they'd grind or if there would still be pieces.
I lost a red belly toad to meal worms years ago when the pet store said they were ok to use and I didn't know any better .

Yeah I'll be using the nightcrawlers I have in my fridge
Try the smoothie mixture. If she keeps throwing her food up its vet time. Parasites can cause them to vomit. You will need to have her checked if she can't keep the smoothie down.
Well, it is MY apartment, she just lives there She actually still owes me rent money for a few months, so she has no say in what I keep in the apt hahaha. Pretty soon though she'll be moving out and I'm going to move my bedroom into hers and use my current bedroom as a herp room.
Anyway, small update, she managed to eat 1 single solitary cricket on her own last night so, here's hoping that she's snapping out of whatever is going on with her... She still continues to have those bright green spots though, idk.
I hope she's feeling better Omar, poor darling.
As for mixtures, I got this stuff for frogs from my vet, you just add warm water to it and make a paste. Has everything he needs in it! I would look into that stuff too if you don't want to grind up worms and stuff lol
