A 12"x12"x12" is fine for a male. I have a Male in a 12"x12"x18" which technically is a tree frog tank, but he loves it and it keeps the light farther away from him. They are excellent at holding heat and humidity as well. Very easy to clean.

An 18"x18"x18" is what my Viv is goung to be for my female. I believe this is a good size for a Pacman as long as you provide ample cover and you may want to add a drainage layer due to how deep the substrate area is.
