Hello there Frog lovers

I signed up to the forum at the start of this year. I havnt made many posts as this site is soooooooo amazing I have had all the advice I needed from other threads and blogs. I just wanted ton take this opportunity to say hello to everyone . I am in the process of making a red eyed tree frog terrarium and I am just on the background at the moment. I intend to have 3 red eyed tree frogs by the end of the build. I havnt kept red eyes before but I have had Grey's and have had reptiles in the past. Just wanted to say hello and any advice or tips would be much appreciated. I will add pcs of my build so far when I work out how to upload them lol!!!!

I am just in the process of preping the backround foam to add eco earth with silicon. Does anybody know if the substrate added to the silicon needs to be bone dry? I had a block of substrate that needed soaking in water to expand and now is a little damp. Any help would be amazing, cheers

When I did my background I used dry dirt and when it rained on my bag of organic soil I finished it with damp soil. The damp stuff mostly fell off so I had to redo it. So IMO use dry soil.
