Victory!!! This morning I was observing my frog at breakfast. A fruitfly decided to stand in front of Puddles' mouth. And just like that Puddles gulped him down. It is a relief to finally know that he is eating.

Ah the joy of seeing your young froggy eat for the first time. Glad to hear it's eating.

Hyla sp. Depending on your location, maybe Pseudacris crucifer? Hard to tell at this age.

Hyla is the genus we think the frog belongs to. The "sp" is short for species and we use it because we are not sure of the species, though we are pretty sure it is of the genus Hyla.

Doesn't look like Pseudacris crucifer to me. (Though it is hard to tell when you can't see the back) It IS pretty small though... hm....
