Thanks for the response guys. We ended up taking the moss out completely. It just didn't seem worth it to me with the risk of ingestion. We just had him out for his meal and he ate the rest of the crickets we had left within a few minutes. From what I have understood eco earth isn't harmful if swallowed in small amounts so it would be ok to feed him in his cage now?
