Kurt I would recommend you PM them at least once and give them at least a week to answer before you delete them.

I have already done so, last week, it took me hours to do it. First there was a warning posted in the forum, then indivual warnings went out to all that did not have a flag posted. I wanted to make sure that members that were inactive at the moment would have a chance to fix their profiles. Members who had there locale posted, I was able to post their flag for them, so warnings do not go out to them.
However, the problem I am encountering now is members who joined after the first warning was posted and the rule change, but still don't have their countries. This post is a warning to them.
So how many members will be deleted?![]()
If Kurt has his way, a lot. I don't think we should enforce this so harshly - only on people who post on the forum, since knowing where they are often helps with their questions.

huh? I thought you guys did that through IP detection so the country and flag come up automatically since one day last week it was in my profile at once and I'm sure I only had displayed my city but not my country before..?
it's a pity if you delete them all because I think there are people which aren't online that often and who didn't get that reminder (or they are on holidays etc.) and I'd be pissed if an account of mine got deleted without me even knowing... maybe you can program the forum that way that it's required you display your country if you want to post sth..? or you just sort of "deactivate" their accounts..?
Hmm Maneeta good point. Make their account unusable but not deleted and require a local to reactivate it? John is it possible?
I am hoping to not delete anyone. I definitely don't to.
Helena, your flag was display because I saw your location and "fixed" it for you. There were a few others that I did that for as well.
Last week I sent out around 140 warnings to those with out flags displayed. I wanted to be fair and let everyone know.
The whole point of this was to make it easier for us to help each other out, hopefully in a timely mannor. The flag helps this, knowing one's location helps even more.
