It depends on the light and whether the frog is nocturnal/diurnal. Nocturnal species will hide from lights and burrow or seek shade from the light. If its too bright they will let you know. The same can be said if the light is too hot. They will try to get away from it. You just have to be careful which lights you choose and how high the wattage is. Especially when it comes to heat bulbs.
