ok i live in a small apartment sized condo but i do have a garage. What i want to do is keep my crickets and fruit flys in the garage, problem is i live in Cincinnati. My garage stays decently cool in the summer but in the winter it can get very cold here. I'm trying to figure out how i could come up with some kind of contraption / container area that can have some kind of heater to keep it at a good temp to keep and breed / culture crickets and fruit flies. Anyone have any ideas?
This may be of use to you, another member on the site had developed a system for keeping feeders in the Garage:

Heat Tape or UTH(s) and quality means of insulation will be the ticket. You could apply a similar strategy to that of this member - maybe use a large bin that can house smaller bins within it (one for crickets and one for fruit flies) that has some kind of insulation around it confined within the larger, exterior box/bin...
