Chad just for the future could you use units like inches, we have a lot of members that do not live in the US like Ebony is from New Zealand, could get confused, I know I do some times.

"I have used 10 gallon (38 L) aquariums for 2 to 3 adult frogs, and various sizes of "critter keepers" for juvenile frogs. Due to the arboreal nature of these frogs, the taller the enclosure the better,"(A segment from the care sheet on this forum, I recommend you read it if you haven't already)
If you go by one cubic foot= 7.5 Gallons then that is about 11 Gallons so I would say no to four but ok to three.

In that size, I would say about 2. Three might be pushing it. You can use a simple ZooMed pump to circulate water up and out of the substrate and use the substrate as a biological filter.

I would think six adults and maybe 15 to 20 babies. depending on how many plants and hiding places you have in the tank.

The tank is way too small for that many red-eyes. Also, I would not house "babies" with adults or you will lose them to the hunger of the larger frogs.

OK, but still that is tight quarters for a that many red-eyes. How successful were you in keeping them? How long did you have them?

Six is way too many! How in the world would you keep it clean with that many frogs in such a small tank!? I would honestly say no more then two...but thats just my opinion. Just because you could fit 15-20 babies in one tiny tank does not mean you should....

I may not have a choice. I have a ton of red-eye tadpoles at the moment and they are just starting to sprout legs.

When I was a kid I thought it was great to stuff in as many specimens as I could in an enclosure. After all, that's the way the pet shops kept them! You learn quickly and unfortunately that it doesn't work. Give them room! For what is essentially a 10-12 gallon aquarium turned on its side, I would keep it to 2 adults .

I do two adult red eyes in a 10 gallon tank. They never move in the day. Just at night mine literally are awake for maybe 2 or 3 hours tops. I have watched them a few nights just to see how long they stay awake. They are lazy little piggies who poop a lot.

Mine do that too, but also make lots of noise and tadpoles.
