Default need advise on feeding my tree frogs

I have a Common American Green Tree frog and a Cope's Gray Tree Frog I have had them probably sense May 2011. I feed them once a week 20 crickets every other week they get dusted crickets. Is there any other food I can feed them besides earth worms or leaf worms or red worms that I can buy at a store. Are worms even good to feed them and how would I get them to eat them before the worms dig there way into the dirt sense they don't eat from human hands.

Good worms to feed your frogs are mealworms and wax worms. Wax worms should be offered more occasionally because they are high in fat. It is good to feed your frogs a varied diet, so worms are recommended to be fed to your frogs. Also, to prevent the worms from burrowing away into the soil, place a shallow dish from which the worms cannot escape into the terrarium. Place the worms into the dish, and your frogs will eventually discover them. Hope this helps!

All of my grey tree frogs eat directly from my fingers. In fact, a lot of times they'll sit on my left hand while I feed them with my right :P Just takes some practice and they will get used to it. After they are used to eating from your fingers they'll take just about anything you offer them. To them your fingers = food.

I feed my frogs roaches from my roach colony. They are easy to breed and save me a bundle in live food costs!!! Just keep em hot and throw them vegetable scraps & catfood and you've got all the live food you'll ever need for your pets. I also feed them moths, worms, and occasionally crickets.

I can't stress how easy and cost effective the Turkish Red Runner Roaches have been. I gave up crickets long ago. My Copes love these roaches served up with tweezers, free running, or in a glass dish. I have not found a dead roach yet in the 2 years I've used them. I feed them oranges, fish food, Romaine Lettuce and commercial cricket orange cubes. They can't climb up the side of a dish and they don't eat their young. They have little to no odor, most odor coming from the food I feed them. I put in damp moss (not really necessary but they do seem to enjoy breeding in it) and a few empty toilet paper and paper towel rolls.

It looks like this is a pretty old thread, but I know I've seen a lot of information that says you should really watch mealworms with tree frogs.
