    Default Question...

Is it safe to feed your pet frog crickets or mealworms that have been roaming in rotting vegtables or fruits?and how long can a red eye go without eating?

I don't know the answer to your question. An adult red-eye can go without food for a few days no problem. Water on the other hand, they need to access to whenever they need it.

I sometimes feed mealworms to my tree frogs for variety with no problems. I imagine the same would hold true for Red-Eyes.

In my experience, red-eyes ignore things like mealworms and waxworms.
