Default American green tree frog question.

Alright, at the risk of sounding stupid. I need to ask a question. You know how some people in here have kept green tree frogs with anoles? A friend told me y ou can keep them with a little green snake. SO I was thinking if you can keep them with that why not keep them with something that already comes where they live and is already similar? My question. Could you keep american green tree frogs with american toads(bufo americanus)?

I have a 30g and a friend of mine told me his friend offered him his green tree frogs and he wants to give them to me. SO I was wondering if three of them and two toads would do alright in a 30g? Like if itsalright to mix them up.

My confussion is if you can mix a frog with a reptile why cant you mix a frog with another amphibian? Well thats saying IF it cant be done. Also if they will be alright in it and all. Of course id have to wait till their of equal size. The toads are still at 1inch so Id wait it off till they get atleast 2inches. I was thinking that the toads cant bother the frogs because they are arboreal?

I certainly wouldn't do it - I wouldn't put it past the toads to eat them.

I concur on both accounts, best not to mix species.

Hmm thanks for tipping me you guys. :P I needed to make sure. Maybe Ill keep them later on if I ever decide to go on with another tank. Though I dont wanna be a hoarder sooo. Hmmm Iam trying to think. Whats the max of tanks one should have? I mean Ihave 4 in total right now(amphibians). 1 turtle tank. Thats pretty much it. Would it be over a limit or something? Though I see alot of people keeping TONS and TONS of pets. I dont know if you need an extra permit for that. I do certainly know you cannot have more than 8 dogs/cats per house hold as per federal law. Though I may be wrong on that. But I did see that on animal cop houston. So I dont wanna like be breaking some sort of law of any kind. Also, could you guys give me a tank size thatll perfectly hold them? I mean the toads will be in that 30g. But Iam wanting to upgrade them to a 40breeder for more floor space. Then that tank could be used for green tree frogs since its higher(I think)
