Hey just wondering what people use. I always have trouble cleaning so far I have always just used water and scrubbed really hard.
I might suggest using microfiber cloths. Sold everywhere now, but not all are quite the same. Invest in quality. I use the ones I bought off QVC on TV and the quality is good. I, too, use water, rainwater to be precise, and absolutely no chemicals. As one person on Frog Forum replied about the microfibers, they do tend to grab a little onto dry hands and they do pick up substrate, but they do so well on glass, even on your eyeglasses, windows, bar & kitchen glassware; of course don't use the same rag - that's why I like buying them in multi-colored packs so there is no confusion with use. Perhaps it is the rainwater but I've never had mineral deposits, streaking, or glass discoloration of any kind in my vivarium using microfiber rags (or cloths) and rainwater.
iv been using a toothbrush and carb cleaner, then just wipe away w/ the micro... windex works good too! keeps those frogs lemony fresh
but really toothbrush and distiled water
