Just yesterday I returned from a 2 month vacation to California. I also learned that my neighbor and caretaker of my toads during the trip died (God rest his soul) just a week after I left. Miraculously my toads are still seemingly alright even though they haven't eaten or had their water changed for over a month and a half. They are certainly a bit underweight, but have eaten a few crickets each last night and this morning.
Is there anything additional I can do to help them and re-boost their healthy chubbiness?
Just resume normal care. You know the drill.
your dudes probably just got bored and hibernated.
The Original squirp was starved for an unknown amount of time in my cellar.
she made a full recovery, just note any quirks or concerns with their behavior to us.
I hope the toads are still doing okay? We were on vacation for 10 days and I know they were in goods hands, but well, you know, a mother always worries about the babies when they are not around.
