So, I have always fed my white's dumpy via the "glass bowl" method... I use a clear plastic reptile tote without the lid and put the feeder insects in it, and place that in the enclosure overnight so I know exactly how much he ate.

Well, today I was upgrading the enclosure with some new plants and stuff, and attached the feeder tote to the inside of the glass, slightly up off the substrate for easier cleaning. I noticed tonight that my Whites jumped into the glass a few times trying to get to the crickets. I've never seen him do this before, and I hope he figures out soon that he needs to go to the top of the tote to access the crickets. In the meantime, can he hurt himself doing this? I moved some fake climbing trees and branches up under and around the feeder tote to (a) eliminate the temptation to jump at it from below and (b) to encourage him to climb up the branches to the top of the feeder tote.

Should I be worried he's going to hurt himself? I had heard that reptiles can't see glass (hence why my bearded dragon "glass dances," but my frogs climb up and down the glass so I always thought they could see it.
