Kristen – already done, thanks. ;o)

Cam, thank you. I've raised them from tads last year and I get a bit panicked if something looks a little off. I ran over to my neighbors and she said that her frogs look a little on the red side once in awhile, but then the next day every thing is all whiter. I wonder if climbing and jumping around on the fake vines might irritate their soft skin. Great, just another thing for me to worry about, chaffing!!

Fake vines chafing could be possible if they're rough, but I do find after climbing on the glass the hindquarters of my frogs tend to go a little red like your pictures.

Apart from ensuring there are lots of other nice climbing alternatives (are you opposed to live plants?), I'm not sure what else can encourage them to stay off the glass. Mine tend to climb the glass neurotically during thunderstorms, so some sort of local weather control would be a good plan.

Brian, I do have live plants, natural branches and the fake vines that run throughout the viv. (pics in album) And we are having rain and possible strong thunder storms today which would explain more activity, hmmmm. Which may also explains why Rufus my toad was having a fit last night. I'm just happy that all seems to

Oh, don't get me wrong, they love the vines. I noticed an increase in activity once I put them in. I just hope the roughness of the fake vine isn't irritating their skin. But so far the response is that they look normal. Yeah for me and the frogs!!
