No. UVB radiation is used by the body of reptiles/amphibians/ and even us to produce Vitamin D3 which helps metabolize calcium for healthy strong bones. We supply D3 through supplementation by dusting with a calcium supplement that contains Vitamin D3. So it is not necessary. Plus all UVB lights are fluorescent and fluirescent bulbs are usually to bright and can damage your Pacman's eyes.
