few question about heating and lighting

if you have a metal screen top cover it w aluminum foil. cut a hole exactly the size of the heat lamp fixture. this will keep your humidity up easily. Iv done this for many years. be carful because your heat will increase as well. do some testing w a good thermometer before your frog is in the tank.

ill try the aluminum foil thing tommorow and set everything up and check everything so i know beforehand since i geuss it wouldnt be good to test it with the frog in there. im pretty sure the heat wont get too high since im thinking i will use a red nighttime bulb for him since the other bulb could be too hot, but ill check everything out first. also how much of a drop in tempeture should the tank have at night? could i just use the red bulb all the time for him to make things easier?

I've never heard of anyone using aluminium foil and cutting a hole that is pretty smart. I think its time I get rid of this plastic wrap ****!
