    Default sick whites? help please!

    The Viv:
I started with a setup that other said didn't have enough land or limbs or plants ( viv 1 pic), I added plants/ hiding areas and had no change so I changed the viv completely. ( viv 2 pic)I took it all out and changed into a 1/4 water 3/4 land sytle. At this point, i have a gravel filer bubbler in the treated water. i have a full spectrum light on a timer of 12 and 12 7 am/ 7 pm. i have 2 night veiwing lights that i use in the day and one at night ( it's winter) I keep a very close eye on temps - Day is 75- 80 range and 65- 72 at night. The humidity varies 60 - 70%. the waterfall water is filtered and treated. The land area has a gravel base, charcoal layer and then a online orchid organic mix of soil moss etc. Over that is a variety of moss from online that was most def. clean. The viv ran for almost a month before adding the frogs. I kept a trash bag over for about a week and half.

    The Frogs:
Got them at a reptile show. Captive bred in a large group of like sizes. "she's" bigger and greener. "he's" smaller and browner". From the begining they have been super lethargic. The always sleep day and night. i can wake them but they just go back to sleep. The one I call a male, I thought croaked the first night - could be wrong... I'll call him the male. He ate one cricket the first night and nothing since! He has pooped 2 times both here size of a pea and was about a week ago. He is always easy to handle and doesnt mind us- you nudge and he walks into your hand and cudles up. The one I call female is bigger and she has always hid i the same 2 spots, she doesn't go easily into my hand for pick up. I know you shouldn't handle them much so hands off 1st week and a half. Just in to clean up and try to feed. After 1 week, I put them in a bucket that I mini- viv'd, to try to make it easier to catch crickets. That night she ate 2 crickets- nothing since. If she pooped, I never saw it anywhere until last night while soaking.

Now it's been about 3 weeks! They look very thin to me now. I've tried earth worms, meal worms, wax worms, small and medium crickets. Three nights ago, he looked just awful. He was so weak that he didnt even hold himself up when i tried to pick him up. I started soaking them for 10- 15 min a night in treated warm water with a couple drops of honey and a sprinkle of vitamins mixed in. They do seem to stay away a little longer after putting them back in the viv after the soaking. Then they settle in and sleep again. He does walk from the land to the water and soaks himslef. She stays mainly with her butt in water and the rest on a rock. Thats the only change. He, looks pooped out. She seems pretty strong but I can't tell if she's blotchy or just changeing colors so often. I attached some pics that show she is usually super green. Last night she turned - almost instantly into a dark color with bloches of green. After being back in the viv, shes now the green with light green blotches. She's still the same today and hasnt moved. These two really change colors often. They have no visible issues. I bought some of the vitamin stuff that you mix up and give in syring but i cant get it in the mouth - I felt like I was tramtizing them by trying and I returned it.

I've put hundreds into this. I have put alot of time and energy into it. I'm frustrated that I can't figure out what to do to make them happy & healthy. I can't afford now to take them to the Dr now. I know things come up, you have to have $ planned for that but it's only a couple week in.

Unfortunately I have to put them down tonight . They got really bad quickly. They turned nearly b
lack with crazy green spots that kept growing. They seem like they were sick from the start. Sad but I think I will use oragel and freezing method right away. It's very obvious they are suffering and don't have long to go.I really hope the other frogs from the group are not infected in the same way . I'll probably post a picture so people can see for reference
