Congrats on yr froggy! I love seeing pictures, he's a cutie. Don't worry, my Nugget is a grump too- he's jumped at my fingers a few times. I'd also listen closely to Grif's advice as we don't want Hypnotic getting impacted.

Cute ornate pacman! All hail hypnotoad! Try to keep his temps up to about 80 with either a ceramic heater or a infrared bulb, try to keep his humidity to about 70-80 percent by misting with dechlorinated or spring water, don't use distilled. When he's not hungry he'll stop eating. Sounds like your doing a lot right, enjoy!

Sure about that? Everything I have been reading says its acceptable use distilled for misting to avoid staining the glass. Using dechlorinated/spring water as their main water source (water dish) and for substrate.

Welcome to the club BTW Alison.

You can use hides or buy some fake plants with wide leaves for shade and to hide under. He/she is adorable.

Cooly I just added two little "hut" like things and one fake plant.
He's not using any of them but he did eat a pinkie(Snake feeding day so I decided to defrost one for him too :P )

Don't feed him too many pinkies. Once a month is fine. They have trouble digesting mammalian tissues and sometimes become constipated from eating them. You can skip feeding him for a day then give him a couple red wigglers. They act as sort of a stool softener. Skip one more day then feed with the wigglers again. You should be able to go back to normal feeding after that, but just small meals. Keep his temps at high 70s at night about 78 or 79. Day temp at 81 or 82 and humidity at a consistant 80%. This will aid in his digestion of the pinky.

    Keep us posted.

Once a month it is :3

Will I be able to see his poop even? o.O I feel like he's so tiny it would be hard to spot clean.
