You need one because you need to know what the humidity level is within the enclosure.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Petsmart said they were getting coconut fiber in today.....it was HUSK! I grabbed some moss and just left before I snapped. Getting the moss ready going to put some in just around his home, etc that way he is away from that cypress. Ordering the fiber tonight so MAYBE it'll be in before I leave for Texas. He will not be alone...wife is still going to be here.

Just ordered it and it'll be here in 5-8. I would of already had it if Petsmart didnt say they get FIBER in instead they actually get HUSK. How simple is it to walk over and read coconut HUSK on the price label on the shelf. -shakes head- Just aggravated....

Make sure he doesn't INGEST ANY of those substrates. Its dangerous.

I packed it down flat and put the little 'shade' over him so he has shade. I told the wife where to keep moss and where to put the coconut fiber when it comes in. Probably going to end up on the phone telling her where, etc. He has not ate anything....I am highly POed. Mostly at myself. By anything...found the meal worm today.

He is one pissed off little burger though already grabbed my finger when I was nudging him over so I could pick up the cypress bedding. That stuff was dry as heck even though we mist it OFTEN. I know it has to of been dry in there for him. Can't wait til the hygrometer comes in(same time as coconut fiber).

I am kicking myself repeatedly for not doing the research.

Read that a second recommended substrate was top soil UNTREATED. Went got some and kept SOME moss in there but away from the frog. When my coconut fiber comes in I will be putting that on top of the top soil. Just a very little bit.

What color is he? He looks kind of yellow in these picks. Is he an Albino?

He has gotten real bright green, but believe he is that shade due to him being stressed from just being moved.

He/she is too young. You have to waint until he/she is 5.5 months to 8 months of age before you can sex him/her.
