Hey y'all just an observation that I am curious if there some truth behind it. Here in Texas our weather is whacked, it will be 85F one day and and 28F the next. Now we have been under a cold spell lately and I noticed that while its colder my red eyes don't seem to eat as much even though the temp in the tanks are pretty stable. I have had my male red eye since September before he would eat anywhere from 6-8sm crickets or 2-3 m/lg every other day, now that it's colder it seems like he is only eating a few smalls to a medium or two every other feeding (every 3-4 days). Do they not eat as much when it's cold? My female I've had for a week yesterday ate 3 mediums the first night and 2-3medium and a few small ones ( I Lost count, they're so tiny!). So I don't know how her eating habits play out.
another question is why should I wait so long to put the two together, I finally finished setting up the viv all it needs now are springtails/woodlice and the frogs themselves, I want to put them together soooooo bad
