    Default New to you

I have been keeping Poison Dart Frogs about 13 years now and been working with the wild ones since I was old enough to catch'em. Started biulding vivariums in the early 70's and have 6 setup in my house, teeming with life. I also kep turtles , Bearded Dragons and a tortoise oh yea I have been keeping Tarantulas and spiders for over 40 years, but that is for another page.
For this page I have some blue-legged Vents not sure what to call them right now, but have been calling them anything from Dendrobates ventrimaculatus to Ranitomeya amazonica, personally I am just calling them Blue-legged Vents, I also have some Dendrobates leucomelas, some Dendrobates tinctorius 'Patrica' some 'Brazilian Yellow Head' as well and I just acquired some Ranitomeya varibilis, and tomarrow at the reptile show up in Indi I expect to pick up some Dendrobates azureus. these should keep me busy for awhile and others with baby frogs, I hope! Later as I go and make time between my volunteer work, my work, and school, not to forget my lovely wife, Kimmie and my countless other pets I will attempt to post some pictures. Please do not hesitate to ask me questions, I love those!

Yes I do keep other animals 3 dogs all girls a miniture pincher, a German shepherd, and a Blue-Beagle all just a bunch of kids and I have a black cat that is about the size of a Bobcat (almost).
but back to this page I did pick up a couple Brazilian Yellow Head Tincs about 2 months old, I was on able to get one R.variabiliis not what I wanted but it is new blood, which is important to me I also was able to pick up another type of tinc called a Patrica and these are tadpoles so it will be a while before any of these get together but it is good in the long run cause I now have new blood from 3 different states, so the color lives on. Now I am plcing them in tanks that have been set up for the youngest 8 months and the oldest is 6 years old. I do love doing this.
