Should I move the thermometer to the "cooler" side since its obviously going to be way hotter where the UTH is and the thermometer will just be reading the direct heat coming off the mat?
Your thermometer and hygrometer bothe should be dead center of the back wall of the tank about and inch above the substrate. This way you gaet a more accurate reading of the air temp and humidity levels in the enclosure.
