It looks like his appetite isn't as big as it used to be. However, 3 out of the 5 crickets I put in last night are missing. Also, a bit after lights out last night he went to go soak in his dish. When I woke up this morning to turn the lights on, he was still soaking and is still in there as I type this. Current temp is 80 and humidity is 70. Anyone think this is strange or is it normal? Should I be worrying? I never seen him do this.

Dont worry yet. I would try and feed him elsewhere to make sure he is eating. If he eats there isnt much to worry about.
Alright I guess I'll clean out the little critter keeper I have laying around and do feedings in there.
The youngsters don't always go to bed when they are supposed tooso like Mike said no worries yet. He may have to poop and is soaking to try and go. His right side does not look full though so he could also just be thirsty. You can change his water and place warm water in and then place him back in the dish. If he has to poop this will help a lot more than cool water.
Warm not hot.

Alright, it's already 4pm here and I went back to check on him and he was still in the water... I took him out put in some warm spring water and put him back in. He's been in there for about 5 mins so lets see if he lets out a poop. Funny thing is though, as long as I've had him, he has never gone in the water, he always pooped in his substrate.
Yeah it was really soaking wet at first just dried up because I have only been misting the tank walls. I'll put some spring in his substrate. Thanks.
Okay I moistened up about 80% of his substrate with spring water just now. I left a small side on the far side of his water dish because I read that you should keep a "dry" side also.
EDIT: here's a pic of how we're looking right now. He seems to be just chillin on top of the substrate now and hasn't moved to his dish.

Its not that you're supposed to have a dry side. You're supposed to have a warm and cool side. The cool side will naturally be more moist because there is less heat there to dry it up. All of the substrate should be moist, but not muddy. They like moist soil. Keep a close eye on him. Sometimes even the babies will not eat for a day or 2, but still offer food incase he gets hungry.

Don't you have a UTH?
No I haven't got one yet. What I use is a plug in room heater that heats a room I set it to about 80 and put it in the corner where I keep my 2 frogs are so the temps range around 80-85.

I planned on getting by summer so the AC wouldn't affect their temps, since its been a bit chilly still I just use that room heater and the thermometers read 85. That "small" one should do the trick then?
The room heater actually won't be enough to produce the warm side cool side effect. He needs one of theos heat pads. They must have a constant heat saource like a UTH.
Also AC is very bad for frogs. You must keep him away from all vents or he will become sick. Drafts are bad and they don't experiance anything like AC in the wild. You'll have to find a place completely away from AC. Like a room you could close off.
Okay so I just went out and got him a UTH and stuck it to the opposite side of his water dish area. The substrate is dampened up pretty good. Let's see how he does now. Going to attempt feeding in a critter keeper tonight to see if he will eat. Also the UTH, do I keep it on constantly? Even at night? They always need a warm side/cool side?
Also, when I use the critter keeper to feed him tonight. Should I place the keeper in his tank while he's in it? Make it feel more secure for him while he's in it? I've never done this feeding in a separate container method.
Yes the UTH is to remain on at all times. You can turn the heater down some if you worry about his temps being too hot. As long as he is in the 78 range all should be fine.
You can place his feeder keeper in his tank if you like to make him feel more cmfortable.

Awesome, thanks. Ok one more question and I think I should be good. Since I placed the UTH on the side of the tank, Its right where my thermometer is. Should I move the thermometer to the "cooler" side since its obviously going to be way hotter where the UTH is and the thermometer will just be reading the direct heat coming off the mat?
Alright so I have him in the feeder container and the container is in his tank. He managed to eat 1 out of the 3 crickets I put in there. When he went at it though, he looked real slow and not as fast as I remember him taking crickets down. I'll leave him in there for about 20 more mins to see if he eats the other 2. I have his tank covered so he wont be freaked out by anything. I was just at the supermarket and I picked up some honey just incase it was time for a warm honey bath. Does it sound like I need to?
