Default Best/Safest way to transport tree frog

    Hi,
Unfortunatley my gray has been in the same spot for two days now. I gotta take her to the vet but the nearest vet that sees reptiles/herps is almost an hour away. What is the least stressful way to travel with her? Thanks a lot.

Hi there, You could put your frog in a container of nice damp Sphagnum moss. The sphagnum Moss will also keep your frog from dumping around to much if you put your frog in nice and firm. That is how people post frogs so its definitely good for a car trip. If its a hot day I would suggest a cooler bag to. Make sure your container is secure in the cooler bag as you don't want your frog to slip around. I hope your Tree frog will be OK.
