Default p. adspursus of p. edulis?

title is supposed to be: p. adspersus OR p. edulis

This pyxie was sold to me as p. adspersus in October at a reptile show. A member of another forum thinks it may be p. edulis. Any insight?

    When I bought the frog:

The "member on the other forum" is also on this forum. As well as I, who commented on your thread on RTB. Here is some pictures that somewhat help.

    And?...

His observation triggered me to search google and I actually came across the picture you posted, toxic. It was linked back to this particular forum and that is how I found frogforum.net--I figured it would more insightful to ask the question at a frog forum rather then a forum dedicated to red tail boas

What species do you think my frog is, if you don't mind my asking?

You should! Most of the people working at pet stores are just there for a paycheck. The people on this forum are here because they have a passion for these animals.

I can see where you'd get better opinions on a forum dedicated to frogs rather then Red Tail Boas. I think he's an adspersus. I see the interorbital bar in your first picture barely, but the others not so much. Perhaps if you got a better picture from the side of his ears and ear?

also as frogletts the Adspersus has those 3 stripes on the back that are green. Dwarfs will have yellow to caramel colored striping. and I have never seen a dwarf w blue markings on the inside of the back legs that Adspersus have. yours is 100% Adspersus.

Bruce has "normal" (not demon) eyes tonight!!! They look like the adspersus eyes in the pic with the line going through
